Auckland's SkyCity Convention centre is rapidly filling up with those eager to bid on one of the four block houses tonight.
About 100 people have already arrived at the event which is due to start at 7.30.
Glamorously attired team members are mingling with fans, getting photos taken and signing autographs.
As tonight's The Block finale loomed, contestants have taken to social media to share their anxieties, frustrations, excitement - and their outfits.
House one's Quinn Alexandre, 26, shared a selfie on Instagram showing her hair and makeup.
"All ready for the auction ahh, who's excited / freaken nervous," she wrote.
Alex Walls, 29, half of house three team, shared a photo of a glitzy earring, with the caption: "To wear...or not to wear? #dramaqueen", while her husband Corban, 32, shared a photo of a line of blazers draped over chair backs, with the caption "Boys blazers waiting for auction tonight. Me - James - Damo - Benny #theblocknz".
The TV show's host Shannon Ryan uploaded a glamourous shot of herself - complete with red lipstick, jewellery and her hair in a classic up-do.
"When it all comes together for #theblocknz live final one must strike a pose," she wrote.
Meanwhile, fans of the show have taken to Twitter to show their support for the four teams.
"I'm picking Jo & Damo or Ben & Quinn to win the popular vote, Alex & Corban to get the most money," Michael Wynd tweeted.
Beca Wallace tweeted "Good luck to all the teams on #theblocknz for your auction tonight hope U make pots of cash".
The show's final will be screened live from 7.30pm on TV3.
All four of The Block's Pt Chevalier houses will go under the hammer and the team whose house sells for the most above reserve will be crowned champion - taking home the profit plus an extra $80,000.
