What is your preferred mode of travel for the summer tour?
Travelling through NZ is beautiful which ever way you travel, air or land. We will be driving for part of the tour and flying the other part.
Who's in charge of the stereo/iPod, and what's on it?
It moves around a bit, everyone gets a chance to show their style. We hear Hendrix to Midnite, and a little Fat Freddy's Drop is always good.
Favourite place to grab a feed while out on the road?
I always love a good vegan joint.
Your favourite summer venue?
All the New Zealand venues we are playing are great, because they are outdoors, it's perfect!
Where else are you looking forward to visiting along your tour route?
It's always great to visit Taranaki, it's beautiful and I've caught some great waves there. I'm really looking forward to visiting Waihi and Riwaka also, as I've never been to either place.
Best spot for a quick dip in the ocean, or an inviting swimming hole?
I can only draw from what I know, and so far I think I've had my best experience in Raglan.
What song will you be playing to really get the crowd going?
Quite a few!
What are your plans for New Year's Eve?
I'm not sure yet but it's my first New Years off for a while so I'll probably take it easy.
Do you have any New Years traditions?
No.
Do certain styles of music make more sense during the hot and sweaty months of summer?
Yeah I think so, but reggae music is always a favourite for me in any season.
Is it tough having to work over the summer break when everyone else is partying and on holiday?
No, my job is a holiday and party all in one!
