A full-length trailer for the Steve Jobs biopic Jobs has given Apple fans their first look at Ashton Kutcher playing the iconic tech head.
The trailer, released today, shows Kutcher portraying various stages of Jobs' career, from barefoot college dropout, to garage start-up entrepreneur, to the unveiling of the first iPhone.
The film, based on an independent Job's biography, also stars Josh Gad as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, Dermot Mulroney, Matthew Modine and James Woods.
Jobs is directed by Joshua Michael Stern and set for release on August 16.
A second Steve Jobs movie project, penned by The West Wing's Aaron Sorkin and based on the official Steve Jobs biography, is also set for release this year.
Sorkin told The Guardian he'd be taking a different approach, with the film containing only three scenes, all shot in real time.
"This entire movie is going to be three scenes and three scenes only. That all take place in real time," Sorkin said.
"There will be no time cuts and each will take place before a product launch. Backstage before a product launch. The first one being the Mac, the second one being NeXT, after he had left Apple. And the third one being the iPod."
