Russell Crowe is desperate for some time off so he can see his sons.
The 48-year-old actor - who recently split from his wife Danielle Spencer - is unhappy his schedule has meant he has spent just 40 days with his sons Charles, 8, and six-year-old Tennyson, this year.
Despite recently completing filming on Noah, he is set to go straight to work on Winter's Tale but has vowed not to be so busy in the future.
He tweeted: "Starting on another film set tomorrow. I need to go home & be with my children. Cannot believe how messed up my schedule has become this year. (sic)"
When a follower, a travelling salesman, told him he shared the same problem, Russell added: "I sympathise. I haven't seen mine since late September. Maybe 40 days with them for the year. Won't happen again. All the best (sic)"
And the Gladiator star's sons already know how they want to spend time with their father when he returns home.
Crowe tweeted: "From my eight-year-old last night, he is trying to teach me to play his favourite computer game. "You've got a lot to learn when you get home" (sic)"
Despite being upset over his busy work schedule, Russell still found time to celebrate the end of filming Noah on Monday.
He was joined at New York nightspot Avenue with crew and co-stars including Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson, Mark Margolis, Gregg Bello and producers Scott Franklin and Ari Handel to toast the wrap with vello vodka cocktails.
