Tickets for the Black Keys' Wellington concert have sold out, the concert's promoter has announced.

Tickets are still available for the first show at Auckland's Vector Arena on Saturday, November 3rd. However, fans without tickets to the TSB Arena gig on the following Monday have left their charge too late.

The indie rock duo from Ohio will tour New Zealand with The Rubens, a four-piece band from New South Wales whose debut album is due out next month.

The Black Keys' current album, 2011's El Camino, received a near-perfect review from the Herald's Scott Kara.

"El Camino thumps and kicks along with hard blues-rocking ease," he wrote.

"It's inventive and has a consummate cool about it."
