Michael Clarke Duncan died of "natural causes".
The Green Mile star passed away at Cedars Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles on Monday at the age of 54, just two months after he suffered a cardiac arrest at his home and the LA County Coroner confirmed the cause of death today.
Assistant Coroner Chief Ed Winter said the actor's personal doctor signed off on the actor's death as natural and the coroner's office found no reason to doubt the finding.
Meanwhile, it has been revealed Duncan was planning to have children with his fiancee Omarosa Manigault.
Her representative told CNN the couple were due to marry next year and hoped to have kids in the near future.
Celebrities rushed to pay tribute to Duncan following his death, with his Green Mile co-star Tom Hanks saying: "I am terribly saddened at the loss of Big Mike. He was the treasure we all discovered on the set of The Green Mile. He was magic. He was a big love of man and his passing leaves us stunned."
Armageddon co-star and friend Bruce Willis added: "Michael Duncan was a great actor, a great human being, and he was my very dear friend.
"I will miss Big Mike in a Big Way."
