Yet another band has cancelled an appearance in Auckland, with metallers Lamb of God pulling out of tomorrow night's headlining show with The Black Dahlia Murder and Unearth.

The Virginia metallers cancelled its appearance at The Studio on Auckland's K' Rd, and a fan meet-and-greet at JB Hi-Fi, citing a medical emergency for a family member of one of the band.

"Lamb of God have been forced to cancel their shows scheduled for March 7 in Auckland, New Zealand, and March 9 in Anchorage, Alaska, due to a medical emergency regarding a family member," a statement issued this morning said.

"The band intends to make up both shows during the Resolution tour cycle."

But the show will go on, with the Black Dahlia Murder and Unearth playing extended sets to make up for Lamb of God's cancellation.

A $30 refund will automatically be made to ticket holders, and full refunds are available to those who want them until March 11.

The show also includes New Zealand acts Cripple Mr Onion, State of Integrity and In Dread Response.

It's the third last-minute cancellation in recent memory, with pop acts Roxette and Jessie J all pulling out of shows on short notice.
