Annabel Langbein The Free Range Cook
7pm, TV One
Chef and author Annabel Langbein jokes that she probably came out of the womb armed with a wooden spoon. She mixes her love of cooking with her love of the outdoors in this new series about free range cooking principles.
Set against a Southern Alps backdrop, Langbein tracks down the freshest ingredients - harvesting giant crayfish from fiords, braving bee hives for the purest honey, and casting a line for the freshest salmon. She then throws together a tasty meal for friends in the simple kitchen of a rustic lakeside cabin. Tonight it's a barbecue followed by berrilicious tiramisu.
Weekend Warriors
8.30pm, Maori Television
This documentary sets out to explain the rivalry between rugby league and rugby union enthusiasts - and suggests it comes down to a deep-set class war. Some believe league's working class origins see it treated like union's poor cousin today.
Landscape Man
7.30pm, TV3
In tonight's final episode, landscape gardener Matthew Wilson helps Sarah and Trevor Woods transform their five acre plot into an idyllic garden and farm, and live off the land. Sounds idyllic, until you factor in the coldest winter for 12 years whilst living in a caravan.
ITM Fishing Show
5.30pm, TV3
This week six lucky winners head to a remote piece of coastline for a crash course in landing snapper. Also, with almost 150 episodes under its belt, there are plenty of hard case moments to revisit through the fishing media awards, including Best Lost Fish Tantrum.
