Mental As Anything drummer David Twohill performed "like a chimpanzee on speed" before his ejection from the band, an industrial commission has been told.
Giving evidence at the Industrial Relations Commission in Sydney, founding Mental As Anything member, guitarist and vocalist Martin Plaza, said Twohill's relationship with theband had deteriorated beyond repair by the end of 2004, when Twohill was told he was out of the band.
He claims he was unfairly dismissed and is seeking A$80,000 ($93,316) compensation.
