"You reckon they want to meet someone who would love, cherish and respect them. But instead they go out and get utterly hammered and are s****ing in a bush and coming out and going 'Yes!', like men."
French, who struggled to conceive and adopted a child with Henry, added: "Is that what women threw themselves in front of horses for?"
The infuriated star continued her tirade, questioning where women had gone wrong and asking why they no longer appear to value their body.
She then spoke about the pressure young women are under to look good in the age of social media, with photo sharing site such as Instagram being massively popular.
French claimed change had to come from women themselves, and said this generation had a responsibility to enforce that change.
Earlier this year French stunned fans when she showed off her dramatically slimmer frame after losing seven-and-a-half stone in weight.
She shed the pounds after embarking on complete dietary overhaul as she prepared for a hysterectomy in 2014, after previously weighing 124kg.
French, who has enjoyed a sparkling 40-year career, previously reflected on her dramatic weight loss during her 30 Million Minutes tour in 2016.
She said: "When I was due to have my hysterectomy the doc told me that if I could lose some weight before the op, they would be able to do it via keyhole, and I would recover in three weeks or so.
"Otherwise it would be big open surgery, and three months to recover. So, I set about dropping a few stone.
"No magic wand, just tiny, joyless low-cal eating and lots more walking for weeks and weeks.
"It was grim. I lost seven-and-a-half stone (48kg). I could have the keyhole surgery. Great. That's all it was, practical."
