Married at First Sight New Zealand kicked off to an all too glorious start last night with tears, tantrums, and pashing in a bathroom.
The first episode introduced us to Lacy and Luke and Claire and Dom, the first two pairs to walk down the musicless aisle.
Both couples were surprisingly earnest and genuinely looking to make a go of their marriages making the first episode's proceedings reasonably tame and full of warm fuzzies.
Will tonight's couples be as happy during their nuptuals or will there be more drama on the cards?
The only realy drama in last night's episode came from Clare's daughter Rebecca who unwittingly made herself the most dramatic person on the show due to her over-protectiveness of her 51-year-old mother, dropping warnings like "don't mess around with my mum" wherever possible.
Despite her daughter's reservations Clare and Dom got along swimmingly, even smooching pretty heavily back at the hotel room.
Luke and Lacy also seemed happy with their pairing and minus a few small blunders and burps from Luke, the newly weds were happily chatting by night's end.
