PROPERTY PRICES
A two- or three-bedroom unit or a home on a cross-lease site sells for $800,000 up to the early $1 millions. An average home of three or four bedrooms on a site up to 800sq m in size sells from the low $1 millions up to the high $1 millions.
A top-end property with up to five bedrooms sells for $2 million-plus.
RENTS
Two-bedroom homes generally rent for $450-$500 a week, while three-bedroom homes are $600 upwards. Four-bedroom homes normally rent for around $700, while larger and more prestigious homes can easily top $1000 a week.

Every Saturday from 8am to noon, the Mairangi Bay Farmers Market offers locally grown produce, fresh bread, gourmet food and handmade crafts. The market operates in the Barfoot & Thompson carpark, accessed via Green Gables.
