One of Apple's most talked about products from its September launch is now available for order in New Zealand.
AirPods can be now bought from Apple.com and will begin being delivered to customers next week. The wireless headphones will be available in store next week.
At the September launch Apple unveiled the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. The two phones were the tech giant's first without a headphone jack. Apple's answer to the removed headphone jack were the wireless headphones dubbed AirPods.
The AirPods were originally listed as being launched in October but that was delayed.
Now they're available just in time for Christmas.
The headphones come with a charging case and are activated when opened near an iPhone.
Sensors in the headphones can detect when they are in a person's ear and can automatically play and pause music.
Siri can be activated and used through the headphones to control music, calls, get directions and complete other tasks.
The headphones will set Apple fans back $269.
A new Apple W1 processing chip is used to deliver high-quality audio to the AirPods.
Apple says AirPods can be used for up to five hours of listening time on one charge while the charging case holds additional charges for an industry-leading total of more than 24 hours of listening time.
