Finalists for the 2015 CIO Awards have been named, with leaders from the ICT and business sectors being celebrated.
The award winners will be announced on June 9, but finalists for each of the four categories - CIO of the year, Emerging ICT leader, Executive team of the year and Engaging youth in ICT as well as an overall Outstanding contribution to ICT in New Zealand - were announced this morning.

The awards recognise individuals and teams that have demonstrated strong leadership, innovation and foresight in their contribution to the ICT and business sectors.
Ullrich Loeffler, Managing Director of IDC Australia and New Zealand which is co-hosting the awards with Conferenz, said the CIO Summit was one of the main professional development forums for senior ICT executives.
"The CIO Awards recognise leadership and teamwork - two components that are essential to successful ICT implementations," Loeffler said. "We look forward to learning the names of winners on 9 June."
