Auckland-based property investment company CP Group has paid more than $2 million for two buildings backing on to its Mercure Hotel in Dunedin and is considering extending the four-star hotel.
Chief financial officer Prakash Pandey said the buildings could form an extension of the Mercure, formerly Wains Hotel, become apartments or be refurbished.
