Cricketer Chris Harris has bailed out of his fast food franchise, leaving debts of more than $200,000, most of which are unlikely to be repaid.
Harris and wife Linda are directors and equal shareholders of Zinjay Ltd, which operated the Carnivores franchise at Eastgate Mall before going into voluntary liquidation on May 16.
The initial report by liquidator Stephen Tubbs shows the firm owes $203,951, including $53,700 to Harris and his wife. The company's assets were given an estimated value of $25,000 and sold by auction earlier this week.
