Up to 50 little people or "LPs" will converge on Papamoa this weekend for the 41st Little People of New Zealand (LPNZ) conference.
The event, which starts today and runs until Sunday, is being held in the Western Bay of Plenty for the first time.
Little People New Zealand is a not-for-profitorganisation for people 4ft10 (1.4m) and under, and their families. The conference offers a chance to catch up with friends from across the country, share in workshops on various shared issues, visit local attractions, participate in a Top Town afternoon and take part in a disco on Saturday night.
The event is this year being organised by Tauranga woman Debbie Ngata, alongside other members of LPNZ, and is being held at Papamoa's Pacific Park Christian Camp.- Carly Udy
