Central city traffic lights outage

Cameron Rd and Elizabeth St.

The traffic lights on the intersection of Cameron Rd and Elizabeth St will be turned off early this evening for maintenance work.

A council spokesman said the lights would be operating again by tomorrow morning.

During the outage, the intersection will be limited to one lane with a temporary roundabout.

The spokesman said this work concluded a major upgrade to the Elizabeth/Cameron Rd intersection which started in October 2013.
