Police say they are following positive lines of inquiry into the theft at Te Puna Quarry Park.
Tens of thousands of dollars' worth of equipment was stolen from the park between the hours of 5pm on August 25 and 12pm on August 27.
Senior Sergeant Eddie Lyttle said inquiries were ongoing and he thanked members of the public for providing information regarding the theft.
An estimated $30,000 to $40,000 worth of equipment was taken from the garage and storage shed at the park.
Thieves stole a white Suzuki mini truck, a ride-on Masport mower, three chainsaws, three weed eaters, a generator, a skill saw, an electric drill, a hedge trimmer, an arc welder, a wood chipper, a concrete mixer and many other tools and equipment.
The Tauranga and Western Bay community has responded by donating equipment and money to the park, which is developed and maintained by volunteers.

Quarry Park president Ian Cross said this week that there had been many donations and expressions of goodwill from members of the public, local businesses and organisations.
An alarm company had phoned to say it could help with security, Bay Engineers Supplies had offered a free arc welder and the Ōmokoroa Lions Club donated $500.
Local residents had also given the park equipment they don't use any more – brush cutters, weed eaters, a cordless drill and a water blaster to name just a few of the recent gifts.
"There's a lot of support from the community, so we'll put it all together and see how we go."
Cross said the park's volunteers were in the process of preparing an insurance claim.
They were expecting a shortfall between what they receive from the insurance company and what it will cost to replace all of the equipment.
A Givealittle page has also been set up and has so far attracted $240 in donations.
