Zespri is looking for graduates to join the growing business in its launch of Zespri's graduate programme last year,
Zespri global sourcing partner Bernadette Ryan-Hopkins explained the graduate recruitment scheme would run again this year to attract top young finance and supply chain talent into the kiwifruit industry, which is one of New Zealand's largest exporter earnings with over $1.57 billion last year in sales revenue.
"Three positions are available to recent graduates, offering 12 months working across Zespri's business and the wider kiwifruit industry.
"The kiwifruit industry is looking at serious growth - with export earnings set to double by 2020 - and Zespri wants the brightest and best employees on board to grow the business. The first graduate programme has been a phenomenal success and we're so excited to be doing it again," Ms Ryan-Hopkins said.
The graduate programme continued Zespri's commitment to develop the future leaders of this industry. This year, Zespri is looking for graduates to meet the specific requirements of its growing business.
Applications were welcome from graduates with supply chain and finance disciplines. Skills in languages is particularly relevant but the right attitude is the most important of all.
Zespri is the world leader in kiwifruit and sells premium-quality kiwifruit in 54 countries around the world, and there are future opportunities across the business in a whole range of different areas including marketing, finance, logistics, supply chain, horticulture, science and legal.
The successful applicants will also have a senior executive mentor for their time at Zespri - an excellent opportunity to get advice from someone who has worked their way through the business.
Applications are open until 13 September 2015. Applicants must be New Zealand residents and have graduated within the past 12 months. Visit www.zespri.com for more details and to apply online.
