Another scrub fire on the Daisy Hardwick boardwalk last night has prompted police enquiries.
This was the second friday night in a row that fire fighters have been called to scrub fires on the same boardwalk.
Fire fighters were called to a scrub fire last friday night that left the patch of bush destroyed and the boardwalk singed.
Senior Station Officer Len Sabin said last week's fire began in the undergrowth surrounding the boardwalk and the cause was "obviously suspicious".
Senior Sergeant Carl Purcell said, following last night's fire, police believe someone is lighting the fires and although no arrests were made police spoke to people in regards to the incident last night.
Mr Purcell said there were a couple of people yet to be spoken to by police as part of their enquiries.
