Hamilton rockers Checaine are hitting the road in support of their latest single.
They supported local heavyweights Devilskin and I Am Giant in recent years, now the four-piece are bringing their high-octane show to Totara St.
The band have undergone some changes since the release of their debut album, with new members Pete Westbury (Sticky Filth, The Nod, Blackjack, WW4) on drums, and Chris Prenter (Darklight Corporation, Silos) on bass, joining founding members Regan Aspden and Fraser Coombes.
The band has spent the winter months in the studio, resulting in the roll-out of their latest single, Set Us Free. Fraser Coombes says the band can't wait to bring their brand of rock to regional New Zealand. "It's great to get out of the big cities and hit smaller towns and venues, where the locals really get in behind New Zealand music."
