1 Terracotta colour:
This is the colour of the season and these rich, earthy tones vary from lighter shades of dusty brown to rich plums, vibrant mustards and warm ambers. With shades to suit all skin tones, come and choose from our favourites from Marle and Juliette Hogan. Marle Teller Tee Cocoa, $220, and Juliette Hogan Vega Cami in Amber, $319.New season is upon us and it's time to spring clean the wardrobe as we head into the warmer weather, longer days and balmy nights. Rodelle Payne has put together five looks to get you into the swing of spring.
What would a spring trend be without a floral print! Juliette Hogan has nailed it with her print of the season, Summer Bloom, in soft pastel colours. The print comes in a maxi dress, shorts, jumpsuit and cami. Karen Walker's print of the season is a floral in bold navy, with options in dresses, shirts, tees and shorts. Karen Walker Bounty Dress, Navy, $495, and Juliette Hogan Always Slip with Tie, $569.
3 Playful sleeves:
This season it's all about the exaggerated sleeve and from billowy to bell shaped, extra long cuffs to arm slits, there are many options that spice up the simple sleeve. The more fun you can have with the statement sleeve, the more playful it can be! Annie Bing pleated sleeve blouse in Off White, $320, and Free People Have it My Way top in Mulberry, $318.
4 Flowy pants:
The pant silhouette for spring is the extra wide-leg trouser which is a step away from the tapered style of previous seasons. Pare the new wide-legged trouser look back with a fitted top, a tucked-in shirt or a cami - the key is not to drown the pants with something too heavy or oversized at the top. Juliette Hogan Farah wide leg pant in black, $419.
5 Graphic tee:
One of this season's hottest items. While graphic tees aren't anything new, there are many stylish ways they can be worn. Style them back with jeans and sneakers, pair them with skirts and under dresses, or tuck them into the new-season wide leg pant. Etre Cecile Nouvelle Sensation Oversized tee, medium grey marle, $145, Etre Cecile Avenue des Stars tank, $140.
