Organisers of a wearable technology picnic in Auckland say the first New Zealand event was a success.
The event, held over the weekend, at Mt Eden War Memorial Hall included participants with wearable cameras, sensors and headgear.
Among the companies showcasing products were Rex bionics who have designed the world's first hands-free, self-supporting, robotic walking device for mobility impaired users and New Zealand company Thought-Wired.
The picnic was one of a series of global events to showcase wearable technology.
