Women's Network Whanganui hosted its Womancraft Market on Sunday as part of its Winter Wonderfest Programme.
The programme started with an exhibition at the Space Studio and Gallery down Taupo Quay on Saturday night and finishes on September 2 with an introduction to butter and yoghurt.
Womancraft Market creator Maria Lawless said the proceeds would go to Women's Network Whanganui.
"A bunch of us have gotten together and we sell stuff that we make. We're also doing a raffle that all of the stallholders have put things in to sell," Lawless said.
"There's a bit of everything in there really, there's a dreamcatcher, a painted glass bowl, jewellery, embroidery, a bag and a really neat coffee pot."
The raffle will run until the end of this week, tickets cost $5 and can be purchased at the network's 75 Saint Hill St location.
Lawless said the event was usually held at Majestic Square and would be again in November.
"The Woman's Network does a lot for our community. I've run a couple of women's groups here, we're all supportive of each other year-round, and we like to get together and do something fun.
"It's a celebration of the different crafts that local women do. When we do it at Majestic Square we'll have music and do some dancing, too."
