The New Zealand Warriors rounded off their signing campaign yesterday by tying second rower Logan Swann to a two-year deal.
The 25-year-old, who had been linked with English club Bradford Bulls, will add class and experience to the Warriors pack.
"Logan's ... a proven NRL performer and we're delighted to have him in the squad," said Warriors general manager Mick Watson. "He'll be a key weapon in the 2001 season and we've tagged him as a major force in the club's future development."
Swann's contract includes an option for an extra year.
A meeting with Watson convinced Swann to stick with the club he joined as an 18-year-old in 1994.
"I wanted Logan to see what the club was about before signing," said Watson. "In return, I wanted his full commitment to helping build the club over the next three years."
