Northland could have yet another player sidelined for foul play when the Rugby Football Union judicial committee meets today.
Samui Vahafolau has been cited by citing commissioner David Gray for foul play in last Friday's 12-24 loss to Auckland.
Vahafolau, a powerful No 8 and one of the best Northland forwards, tackled Auckland first five-eighths Carlos Spencer from the back, with his swinging arm connecting with Spencer's head.
Spencer was treated before he continued playing.
In recent weeks, Northland have had a number of players sent off and suspended for foul play.
Another player to face the judiciary today is West Coast lock Arthur Gilman, sent off against Horowhenua-Kapiti.
Seventh-round draw: Friday, Auckland v North Harbour. Saturday, Waikato v Canterbury, Otago v Southland, Taranaki v Northland. Sunday, Counties Manukau v Wellington.
