Reports that the First Lady of the United States Melania Trump has been staying at a Washington DC hotel rather than her official White House residence, in light of her husband's latest scandal involving porn star Stormy Daniels, have been denied by her staff.
Melania Trump was scheduled to fly to Switzerland for the Davos summit with her husband but, instead, unexpectedly flew to Palm Beach, in the US.
Donald Trump reportedly paid the porn star $130,000 to keep their affair secret.
This fuelled rumours of marital trouble following allegations that Donald Trump had a fling with Stormy Daniels when he was already married to Melania.
Melania's spokesperson, Stephanie Grisham, took to Twitter to deny the allegations of relationship trouble, calling the reports "fake news".
The laundry list of salacious and flat-out false reporting about Mrs Trump by tabloid publications and TV shows has seeped into "mainstream media" reporting," Grisham said.
"She is focused on her family & role as FLOTUS - not the unrealistic scenarios being peddled daily by the fake news."
The porn star at the centre of the scandal, Stormy Daniels (real name Stephanie Clifford), is scheduled to be interviewed on the popular talk show Jimmy Kmmel Live! after Donald Trump's State of the Union address on Tuesday.
