Five friends from Argentina were in New York on a trip to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their graduation when they were killed in the terrorist attack that claimed eight lives.
A video has now emerged of the five friends enjoying themselves riding along the bike path where they would later die.
The footage appears to have been shot by Ariel Benvenuto, who survived the attack, and shows the friends grinning along the West Side Bike Path, next to the Hudson River.
Benvenuto was in New York with nine of his friends celebrating the 30 years since their high school graduation.
Five of the men were later killed.
It is not known whether this video was taken on the same day of the attack.
A statement from Argentina's foreign ministry says it passed on its deepest condolences following the deaths of Hernan Diego Mendoza, Diego Enrique Angelini, Alejandro Damian Pagnucco, Ariel Erlij and Hernan Ferruchi.
A sixth Argentinian man with the group named as Martin Ludovico Marro is being treated at the Presbyterian hospital in Manhattan, the ministry added.
The attack left killed eight people and 11 have been left injured after a rented ute mounted a bicycle path in lower Manhattan, mowing down cyclists and runners for 17 blocks, then reportedly shouting "Allahu Akbar".
The 29-year-old driver, named by insiders as Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov, entered the bicycle path at Houston St at 3.05pm (local time) and drove downtown, knocking down victims before smashing into a school bus at Chambers St.
The Uzbekistan national claimed to have done it "in the name of ISIS" and has been taken charged with terrorism.
