Two boys who hid from security guards to get themselves locked in a supermarket are now in trouble with police.
The two schoolboys, 12 and 13, reportedly ransacked a Glasgow Sainsbury store, making their way through $530 worth of food and drink.
The pair's food binge soon came to an end when staff starting their 2am shift discovered the boys.
During the incident, a camera and two memory cards went missing after a stocktake the folowing day came up short.
"Parents were called and the children were picked up and are safe and well," Glasgow police told East Kilbride News.
A source told the East Kilbride News the boys spent four hours roaming the aisles of the store before stowing themselves away in the clothing department until the shop was closed.
The shop closes to customers at 10pm.
Security is reportedly being "stepped up" following the incident.
"Shutters used to be left up where the vans are but are now being closed at 10pm and security is sweeping the store at closing time," a source said.
"It's shocking that security guards failed to notice the two boys."
