The bizarre fire was sparked when the slinky reptile wrapped itself around a heater, causing it to overheat.
Fire crews rushed to the property in Napton-on-the-Hill, Warwickshire, to put out the blaze, according to Daily Mail.
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service tweeted a picture of two fire engines on a narrow road at the scene.
They said: "Not the usual call out.
"Crews were called to a house fire in Napton after a pet snake had got wrapped around a heater causing it to overheat."
It is not known if the snake survived.
