Emergency services were called to the fire at noon and it took them four hours to extinguish the fire, according to the Siberian Times.

"At 4.30pm the fire was extinguished," said a spokesman. There were 26 people and seven units of equipment involved."

When the firefighters arrived, the roof was on fire, but this didn't stop them from entering the building and saving the animals.

The video shows the firefighters putting out the fire as well as carrying out squealing piglets which are burned, but still alive.

After the video was posted, people on social media applauded the work of the firefighters and expressed their affection for cute and funny piglets.

"I know it's their job...But it is so kind," one user said, while another added: "They have big hearts."

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
