When it came to the recent US election, plenty of celebrities took to each and every public forum they could to endorse Trump or Clinton.
It was no secret mega stars like Beyonce, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Jay Z were endorsing Clinton but there was one famous voice that stayed silent.
In a recent interview with Task & Purpose Magazine, Mark Wahlberg slammed celebrities who lent their voice to the hard fought campaign.
"A lot of celebrities did, do, and shouldn't [talk politics]," he told the publication.
While the star-studded support for Hillary was extensive, Wahlberg wondered what good it did considering Trump is America's president-elect.
"You know, it just goes to show you that people aren't listening to that anyway," he said.
"They might buy your CD or watch your movie, but you don't put food on their table. You don't pay their bills. A lot of Hollywood is living in a bubble. They're pretty out of touch with the common person, the everyday guy out there providing for their family."
While the Shooter actor believes Hollywood is "living in a bubble", Wahlberg insists he's different.
"Me, I'm very aware of the real world. I come from the real world and I exist in the real world. And although I can navigate Hollywood and I love the business and the opportunities it's afforded me, I also understand what it's like not to have all that."
The 45-year old actor is currently promoting his newest movie, Patriots Day, a terrorism drama on the events surrounding the 2013 bombings at the Boston Marathon.
If the actor's fans were looking for a slice of politic wisdom from the star, Wahlberg does give his opinion on Trump's proposed immigration restrictions.
"I think a lot of good people have been mistreated for a long time and we need to fix that ..."There's a big difference between a Muslim and a terrorist. Big, big difference."
