4:40 p.m.

President-elect Donald Trump says New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is "a very talented man." But he is not saying if there is a place for him in his administration.

Christie was one of a parade of officials visiting Trump Sunday at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club. Christie, a former candidate for president, was an early backer of Trump. But he was recently demoted as head of Trump's transition effort. It is now not clear how big a role Christie is now playing.

His diminished role came after two former aides were convicted in the George Washington Bridge political revenge plot. Christie denies wrongdoing and wasn't charged in the 2013 scandal.

Christie recently said he plans to finish his term, which ends in 2018.

Donald Trump says his wife, Melania, and their son, Barron, will move to the White House "right after he finishes school" next year.

An aide to the president-elect had suggested earlier that the Trumps are reluctant to move their 10-year-old son from New York to Washington during the school year.

Trump will be inaugurated as the nation's 45th president on Jan. 20. Most American schools finish the school year in the late spring or early summer.

Trump made the remark Sunday at his golf course in New Jersey as he was escorting Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach from a meeting. It was only one of a string of sessions Trump has been having with prospects for posts in his administration.

Donald Trump says former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani is still being considered for secretary of state, "and other things."

The remark at Trump's golf club in New Jersey came after Vice President-elect Mike Pence said Mitt Romney was a "strong contender" for secretary of state.

Giuliani is one of Trump's most loyal and public allies. The former Massachusetts governor, meanwhile, exchanged bitter insults with Trump during the presidential campaign. But Romney and Trump have been making amends lately and the two met Saturday at the club.

Giuliani had been considered for attorney general, but Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama got that job.

Donald Trump has met with billionaire investor Wilbur Ross as the president-elect searches for a secretary of commerce.

Asked Sunday if he's considering Ross for the post, the president-elect replied: "That's what we're looking for."

Ross was asked if he wanted the job. He replied, "Time will tell." The two met at Trump's New Jersey golf course.

President-elect Donald Trump has arrived at his New Jersey golf club for another round of meetings with people who could fill out is Cabinet " and perhaps a few announcements.

Trump told reporters that appointments "could very well happen" Sunday. He then welcomed Ari Emanuel, calling him a "king of Hollywood." Emanuel is a talent agent; his brother, Rahm Emanuel, was President Barack Obama's chief of staff and now the mayor of Chicago.

Trump has said he is considering former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney for secretary of state and retired Marine Corps. Gen. James Mattis for defense secretary.

The president-elect has a big round of meetings Sunday with former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and others.

President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence are attending a church service.

The two have been working from Bedminster, New Jersey, to pick people to lead Trump's upcoming administration. On Sunday morning, Trump and Pence left Trump's golf club there shortly after 10 a.m. and entered the nearby Lamington Presbyterian Church.

Press was not allowed in the white chapel.

Vice President-elect Mike Pence says Mitt Romney is "under active consideration" by President-elect Donald Trump to be nominated as Trump's secretary of state, "along with some other very distinguished Americans."

In an interview with "Fox News Sunday," Pence says Romney's recent meeting with Trump was a "warm and substantive" exchange. He said the team spent about an hour together and that Romney and Trump did have some private time.

Pence says overall, "it was a cordial meeting."

Pence also says repealing President Barack Obama's health care plan is the new administration's first priority. He says Trump "wants to focus out of the gate" on repealing "Obamacare."

9:50 a.m.

Incoming White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus says President-elect's Donald Trump's continued involvement with his business will comply with federal laws.

Priebus told CNN's "State of the Union" that Trump's meeting with a group of Indian real estate developers last week reflects his unique background as a politician, but won't affect how he governs.

Priebus also discussed Trump's threat to pull federal funding from cities that don't enforce immigration laws, calling it a matter for negotiation.

Similarly on immigration, Priebus isn't saying that Trump will take action against all those currently living in the country illegally. Asked about deporting children brought to the United States illegally, Priebus said that any discussion of how to handle their cases would be delayed until after the U.S. border is secured.

President-elect Donald Trump is tweeting about his meeting on Saturday with retired Marine Corps Gen. James Mattis.

Trump referred to the general by his nickname, "Mad Dog Mattis," and said the four-star was being considered for defense secretary.

Trump first complained Sunday on Twitter about Saturday Night Live and the Broadway play "Hamilton." He then tweeted that Mattis "was very impressive yesterday. A true General's General!"

President-elect Donald Trump isn't happy with Saturday Night Live, the popular late-night comedy show that pokes fun at politicians.

Trump tweeted early Sunday that he watched "parts" of last night's show and didn't like it: "It is a totally one-sided, biased show - nothing funny at all. Equal time for us?"

On the show, actor Alec Baldwin portrayed Trump as ignorant on foreign policy and using Google to ask "What is ISIS?"

Also on Sunday, Trump renewed his complaints about the Broadway hit "Hamilton." His Twitter rants come as his transition team was focused on vetting potential candidates for his administration.

President-elect Donald Trump is renewing his Twitter complaints about the Broadway hit "Hamilton."

Early Sunday morning, Trump wrote on Twitter that the cast and producers "should immediately apologize to Mike Pence for their terrible behavior." He also said he heard the show was "highly overrated."

The vice president-elect attended the show Friday night. At the end, actor Brandon Victor Dixon challenged him from the stage, saying the cast was concerned about the Trump administration.

Trump fired off two angry messages on Twitter Saturday morning, calling for an apology. He posted another such message Saturday evening, but then deleted it.

His tweets came as his transition team was focused on vetting potential candidates for his administration.

President-elect Donald Trump is kicking off another day of meetings at his New Jersey golf club.

Trump wrote on Twitter Sunday that "Numerous patriots will be coming to Bedminster." He added that he is continuing to "fill out the various positions necessary to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

Trump's Sunday schedule in Bedminster includes New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach.

Trump met with 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney Saturday. He also met with retired Marine Gen. James Mattis, considered a contender to lead the Pentagon.

Trump said he may announce some of his picks on Sunday.
