Residents of a Massachusetts town have held a vigil for a woman who went for a run near her mother's home and later was found dead in the woods nearby.

Authorities have urged residents of Princeton to remain vigilant. They say "nothing has been ruled in or out" in the death of Vanessa Marcotte. They say they're receiving "a lot of good information" from calls to an anonymous tip line.

The 27-year-old Marcotte was an account manager for Google in New York City. She was in Princeton over the weekend visiting her mother. Her body was found Sunday night about a half-mile from her mother's home.

Town residents gathered at a church to remember her Tuesday.

Mountain View, California-based Google says it's "shocked and saddened" by her killing.

The 27-year-old Marcotte was an account manager for Google in New York. She was in Princeton over the weekend visiting her mother. Her body was found Sunday night about a half-mile from her mother's home.

Early says an autopsy has been completed, but he won't disclose how Marcotte died. He says authorities are receiving "a lot of good information" from calls to an anonymous tip line.

Residents of a central Massachusetts town will hold a candlelight vigil to honor a New York City woman who was slain while visiting her mother.

Vanessa Marcotte's body was found in Princeton on Sunday, in woods about a half-mile from her mother's home. The town of 3,500 is located about 40 miles west of Boston.

Authorities have said they are unsure whether Marcotte was targeted or whether it was a random attack. Marcotte worked as an account manager at Google in New York City.

Princeton Town Administrator Nina Nazarian said townspeople are planning to hold a vigil at the First Congregational Church on Tuesday evening to show support for Marcotte's family.

A Boston University professor says a Google account manager who was found slain in central Massachusetts during the weekend was "remarkably sweet" and knew at a young age what she wanted to do in her career.

Vanessa Marcotte left her mother's house in Princeton on Sunday afternoon for a run, but never returned. Her body was found in woods about a half-mile away Sunday night.

Boston University professor Steve Quigley says Marcotte was very interested in search engine marketing when she was a student in his New Media class in 2010. Quigley says Marcotte "immediately knew that's what she wanted to do."
