TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras (AP) Police say gunmen opened fire on the younger daughter of Honduras' former president, but she wasn't badly hurt in the attack.
Twenty-one-year-old Donatella Micheletti Giron was leaving a gym in the capital Tuesday night when her car was blocked by three men in another vehicle who shot at the driver's side.
Honduras' Preventive Police force director Hector Ivan Mejia says an officer guarding Micheletti shot back at the attackers. He and Micheletti suffered minor injuries. The three attackers were arrested.
Micheletti's father, Roberto, was president of Honduras for several months after a June 2009 coup.

Officials say the attack was apparently an attempt to kidnap the young woman.
