The British bride-to-be who was injured in a hen party bus crash that killed one of her friends might never walk again, it has emerged.

Stefanie Firth, 24, from South Elmsall, West Yorkshire, suffered serious spinal injuries in the accident, which claimed the life of her friend Bethany Jones, 18, and injured seven others when their minibus collided with a truck as they joined the M62.

Firth, who had been due to get married in two weeks, was airlifted to hospital for emergency surgery for a ruptured spleen and remains in intensive care.

Her husband-to-be Gary Leafe, 28, was at her bedside as medics warned she may need another operation, with the Sun reporting that she may not be able to walk again.
