This week kicks off sunny in many regions with light winds and clearer skies. However later this week a very large low will move in bringing heavy rain and strong winds for a time. Heavy snow is likely on the North Island ski fields later this week with another colder, frostier, weekend coming in as a high moves in from the Tasman.
