It's another pearler day ahead for the country with fine weather for just about everywhere.
MetService duty forecaster Claire Flynn said apart from a few showers at the tip of the country the North Island would enjoy a fine day.
The western half of the island could expect a bit of cloud during the day but that was expected to clear and regions would enjoy fine spells.
"For most people it's looking pretty nice," Ms Flynn said.
After a nippy start to the day temperatures were expected to hover around the 20C mark. Auckland could expect 21C, while Wellington would reach 18C.
The east coast of the South Island was also expected to enjoy a stunning day, however, across the divide on the West Coast the skies would be cloudy with a few showers.
Showers were also forecast around Fiordland with high cloud expected to move on to southern regions later in the day.
Christchurch could expect a sunny 18C and Dunedin 19C.
