The Watson Wanganui junior cricket teams to play this weekend against Manawatu have been named.
The under-11s, coached by Drew Morisson, are a little undermanned with four players unavailable due to a football tournament this weekend.
As well as the under-11s, 12s and 13s playing Manawatu, a Wanganui under-17 team will play against Taranaki in New Plymouth.
The Gerard Hobbs-coached side will be without the likes of Todd Inness, who has earned promotion into the Wanganui Hawke Cup team, while Brett Cameron is also still eligible for this side but is missing both junior and senior representative cricket this weekend to represent his Cullinane College at the national touch rugby tournament.
This game with Taranaki will serve as a build-up for the Central Districts Under-17s tournament, being held December 16-19.
