Rangitikei and Te Tai Hauauru election candidates will make their pitch to Marton voters on Thursday night.
Project Marton is hosting a meet the candidates event at the Marton Friendship hall with most in contention for the two seats expected to be attending.
Te Tai Hauauru candidates confirmed so far are Adrian Rurawhe (Labour), Howie Tamati (Maori) and Jack McDonald (Greens).
Standing against Rangitikei incumbent Ian McKelvie (National) is Heather Warren (Labour), Rob Stevenson (NZ First), Neil Wilson (Act), and Robin McCandless (Greens).
Candidates will be asked 15 questions selected from those sent in by the public followed by a question and answer session, time permitting.
Project Marton plans to livestream the event on its Facebook page.
Rangitikei District councillor Nigel Belsham will be MC.
The Wanganui Chronicle will be hosting a public forum for election candidates for the Whanganui and Te Tai Hauauru seats on Friday, September 15, at the War Memorial Centre.
