Armed Offenders Squad officers get their weapons from the boot of an unmarked police car during a raid on a Castlecliff property on Saturday afternoon.
Whanganui police were executing a warrant to arrest at a property in Cornfoot St.
Police officers made a careful risk assessment and decided the squad was needed, a spokesperson told the Chronicle.
The police were at the scene for about 20 minutes, and a 31-year-old man was arrested, without incident, at the property for breach of bail.
