They're dancing in the supermarket aisles this month as preparations get underway for the Countdown Kids Charity Ball.
Countdown Victoria Ave is hosting the annual ball at the Wanganui War Memorial Centre on October 8.
The ball is a fundraiser for the Countdown Kids Hospital Appeal which is on now until October 23.
The appeal has raised $9.3 million since 2007 with money going towards the purchase of much-needed medical equipment for children's hospital wards throughout New Zealand.
There are 500 tickets available to the ball which can be purchased for $80 each at Countdown Victoria Ave from next week.
The price of the ticket includes entry and a sit-down dinner.
Countdown Victoria Ave store manager Stuart Urbahn said the annual event had grown in numbers each year.
"It's just great to get active in the community and raise money for the kids hospital. It's a fantastic cause," he said.
Mr Urbahn said a lot of staff volunteer time went into organising the event.
"We've got a lot of staff and a lot of community involvement in it which is fantastic."
