Attention book lovers!
The Rotary Club of Wanganui's book sale begins today, with more than 20,000 books on offer.
The annual sale has a change of venue this year, moving to the former Farmers building in St Hill St.
"It's much bigger, so we can have a lot more books," organiser Marion Davenport said.
Prices start from 50 cents and go up to $60 for a few very special books.
"We've had so many wonderful donations this year. We have a lot of collectible books this year, and quite a few on New Zealand and New Zealand history."
Eftpos is available for purchases, and the building can be accessed from St Hill St and Victoria Ave.
Mrs Davenport said the money would go towards several Rotary projects, including the restoration of the Westmere Walkway and the establishment of the Matipo Community Gardens. The book sale is on Friday to Sunday, from 9am to 4pm, at the former Farmers building, St Hill St.
