Red Cross will run workshops for people affected by the June floods.
The Recovery Matters workshops will be held on December 7 at 11am, 2pm and 5.30pm.The 45-minute workshops have been developed by disaster recovery experts and offer practical tips to help people affected by emergencies through the recovery process. They are an opportunity to understand how stress caused by emergencies can affect memory, decision-making and managing responsibilities, as well as to connect with others who have been affected.
Everyone is welcome and those supporting people through the recovery process are encouraged to come along. The workshops are at the Pioneer Room, War Memorial Centre, Whanganui.
