Women's Refuge Whanganui's Unbroken fundraiser on Friday will showcase the art and glass work of 13 artists.
Women's Refuge chairperson Paula Wade said the glass and art works of 13 artists will be auctioned by "real estate whizz" Ritesh Verma while NZME's Darryl Mallett will compere the 5.30pm event at Chronicle Glass.
"Tickets are limited to 100," Ms Wade said.
"It will be a fun night with great people giving their time to our cause.
"Charlotte Melser, who was the wild card finalist on Homai Te Pakipaki, will entertain, and Katie Brown will demonstrate glass blowing, then her piece will be auctioned."
Ms Wade said proceeds from the auction would prepare the Women's Refuge board going into the Christmas period, and also buy gifts for the mothers and their families.
"The Christmas holiday period is a happy time for most families, but it's not so happy for the mothers and children who come to the refuge for help."
Ms Wade paid tribute to the Whanganui businesses who continually supported the refuge.
"I am very grateful to our gold sponsor Q West, and silver sponsors Roger Crowley lawyer, Pak 'N Save, Kelly and Associates, Ali Arc and Inferno Design."
The artists are Larinae Steward, Katie Brown, Rachael Garland, Lindsay Patterson, Barbara Bullock, Jilly Hare, Craig Hooker, Prakash Patel, Sarah Williams, Kirsty Winton, Kathryn Wightman, Chester Borrows and Graeme Kiff.
Unbroken art and glass auction is at Chronicle Glass at 2 Rutland St and formal dress is suggested.
Tickets are $25 which includes drinks, nibbles and entertainment.
They can be bought from The Edge Beauty Studio, 45 Victoria Ave, and Chronicle Glass.
The works are open for viewing from 10am to 4pm on Friday.
