A staunch supporter of child sponsorship will play a gig in Wanganui.
Live In The Lounge is a series of acoustic house concerts with Kiwi singer/songwriter Bryce Wastney, who wants to raise awareness and inspire action on behalf of groups such as World Vision. He sponsors two children himself and has visited them.
Wastney has toured the world as a musician and shared the stage with Guy Sebastian, Jars Of Clay, Stu Larsen and Paul Ubana Jones.
A recent review of his show said: "Bryce's genial demeanour, warmth, and sense of humour, combined with his obvious skill on guitar and harmonica, made for a very enjoyable and purposeful night.
"The Live in the Lounge concept works well ... and I'm sure will be a major blessing and privilege for all those who avail themselves of the opportunity to participate in it."
Bryce Wastney plays Delicious Cafe & Wine Bar in Victoria Ave on August 22. The show starts at 7pm.
