An aggravated robbery in Gonville has left a man robbed of his personal belongings and police on the hunt for two suspects.
The offenders robbed the man on Bignell St at 9.30am yesterday outside a residential address.
The victim was not harmed during the incident.
He described the offenders as Maori or Polynesians who were wearing dark clothing and aged in their late teens or early 20s. The pair were seen to leave the area on a dark-coloured BMX bicycle along Abbot St towards Heads Road.
Whanganui CIB is investigating the robbery, and is interested in any information or sightings of the males between 9am and 9.45am around the Bignell and Abbot streets area.
