Another major tournament and a host of standout performances from the City College Judo Club at the North Island Championships at the weekend.
Competing over two days at the Aquinas Action Centre in Tauranga, City College brought home three titles while all eight members who took part on the Saturday were among the medals.
Leading practitioner Antoine Rahier again did the double by winning under 60kg division gold medals in both the junior and senior men's competitions.
He also claimed a bronze after moving up to compete against heavier opponents in the senior men's under 66kg division.
Finn Brown won gold in the cadet men's under 66kg and bronze in the junior men's division of that weight.
It was a good weekend for the Kinchella family as Jack won silver in the junior men's under 73kg, while his younger brother Andrew matched that with runner-up in the cadet men's Under 60kg.
Bronze medals were claimed by Liam Goodhall in the cadet men's under 81kg, Amaan Merchant in the cadet men's under 60kg and Eli Tanoi in the junior men's under 81kg, with the latter entering his first competition.
