The weird and the wonderful side of work will be revealed in a comedy show at the Riverside Bar tonight.
Wellington-based comedians Jared Bosecke, Ben Caldwell and Dan Shenton present their show Get [Even] Better Work Stories at 8pm.
Mr Shenton was born and raised in Wanganui. He is a double Wellington Raw Comedy Quest finalist and has performed in every New Zealand International Comedy Festival since 2011. He also appeared with comedian Ben Hurley in his Next Big Things Comedy Fest show.
Ben Caldwell also has local connections and is from Hawera.
The show will be hosted by Ants Heath, whose Comedy Festival show Tokin' White Guy was a sell-out in May.
Bringing their hit show to Wanganui for the first time, they'll be sharing some of the weird, shocking, and funny experiences they've had while earning a crust. From storytelling to short, sharp one-liners, this show has many styles of comedy covered and, they aren't afraid of pushing boundaries.
"All of us come from different backgrounds and professions, so there's a good balance for an audience," said Mr Caldwell.
"Performing with these guys is always great fun and audiences can expect a good night out at this show."
The show is about an hour and a half long with one break. Tickets are $15 and are on sale at the Riverside Bar.
